Fixing an audio CD with a loud noise in it.

Hi:

I have a copy of a cd-da. When listening to it, when a track ends and before the following one begins, a loud noise like that heard in a vinyl disk with a deep scratch, is heard.

Can readcd or cdda2wav, in combination with cdrecord solve the problem copying it to another CD? readcd and cdda2wav belong to the cdrtools package. Regards.

Install Audacity. Audacity is a sound editor. You can easily eliminate noise at the beginning and end of music tracks. Once you have edited the track, and you are happy with the results, write the tracks back to a new CD.

You can find lots of help, here -->http://forum.audacityteam.org/

Hope this helps.
