Firefox User profiles..

Hi,

Whenever I click the firefox-icon in my k-menu while firefox is running, I get a window to choose a user profile.
However, I cannot select the profile that the running firefox is using, so I would have to create a user profile for each instance of firefox..

Is there a way to set firefox to detect if there is a running firefox instance and open a new window for that instance instead of starting a new firefox instance??

Hi.

The latest version of Firefox (1.0) opens a new window if there's an instance running. I'd upgrade.

Which version are you using? I think that problem was fixed with 1.0 release. There is some work around for it though, try searching this forum, I've seem many threads like that. I cannot recommend a link, since I always use tabs ratter then new windows with Firefox
