Firefox/Thunderbird Menus are white

Hello,
I'm relativly new to slackware, lately I moved back to linux and I'm no longer using windows.

When I click on any of the menus in Firefox (File,Edit, View, etc..) the name of the menu ("File" for example) turns white, the block does, so I cannot read the text.
As I move my mouse down the dropdown menu, the options ("New Window, New Tab" etc) are white as well.
I am running Firefox 1.0.2. I have Mozilla 1.7.5 installed and I do not have this problem.

As I mentioned, the same thing happens in Thunderbird, version 1.0.2.

I am running Slackware 10.1, fresh install with 2.4.29 Kernel.
I have installed the nVidia drivers for my video card (FX5900 Ultra) and configured xorg.conf accordingly.
If I have missed any details, please let me know. If this is just a theme issue, that would be great, I'll just load another theme.
I've done a search on this, but no promising leads came back.
Thanks...

I believe it is a theme issue, I normally change to crux (I think it is) similar theme but slightly darker and the menu highlighter is blue.

A new theme worked.

I wanted Thunderbird and Firefox to look the same, so I got the "Little" theme for each.
Looks good and fixed the prob, thanks!

Oh, OK I was referring to changing the gnome theme not firefoxes but if it works that way round then its all good
