Hi mohama
To start Firefox with all the extensions and themes disabled, you must start it in safe mode: /path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode Then you can uninstall the bad theme and choose another one. Greetings. |

how to run the mozilla in safe mode ???
muhammad-sameer, |
You must use the directory where the executable binary 'firefox' is, not the .firefox directory which contains your profile.
(eg. on my machine /opt/firefox which gives the command: /opt/firefox/firefox -safe-mode) If you don't know where it is, do a search on your hard drive: under root login: find / -name firefox Or tell what is the Linux distribution you are using and how Firefox got installed. |

first thanks for helping and answering my questions ...
well , i could run the safe mode but after choosing the themes under tools , the use theme button is never active and clicking uninstall does nothing even this button is active ... and the themes are faded .. thank you very much indeed , muhammad-sameer , |
To have the uninstallation completed, try to restart Firefox in normal mode after clicking the theme uninstall button in safe mode. This seems to work for Fx 1.0 version and higher.
What version do you use? |
hi ,

I guess that I cannot go further to help you.
Do a search at the Mozilla site or the Mozilla forum Good luck. |
