.. Yes, Firefox-1.0 is five years old,
probably the most insecure, you can use.

You still miss out to tell, which Linux, you are using.
The script 'run-mozilla.sh' will not start firefox.
The other script by name 'firefox' will.
( Sometimes it has been moved to /usr/bin/ ,
difficult to tell, when your Linux is unknown.)

OK, kernel-2.6.9-5.ELsmp : Redhat EL 4.0 .
The February 2005 version.
And firefox-1.0.4 : Same age.
Time to renew your Redhat paid account. ?
'up2date' can update Firefox, etc.
I guess, you never updated anything.
1000+ packages to be updated ?
The current firefox for RH EL4 : firefox-3.0.15-3.el4
It has some dependencies → compatibility packages.
At least five of the " evolution28* " packages.
.....
when I run the command up2date its showing some Red Hat Configuration Window with several options. Actually I am new to this. So, can you tell me what are the checkboxes I have to check to make this update process successful?
