Firefox seems broken [?] in Ubuntu

Every time I minimize a page in Firefox (2.0) it simply closes. I noticed that Eniphany web browser does this as well. At one time this did not occur so I suspect something broke them. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks

Does anything other than epiphany also close. If windows in general don't minimize then it might be just that the tasklist is somehow missing from the bar. If other things are working fine than I'm stumped.

Cmon No it's the "-" that acting exactly like the "+" and I'm stumped too. I see the page go to the tool bar for a split second, then gone. Both browsers do the same thing. I hate to say it but if Linux breaks this easy I may return to Winblows.

Does this behaviour just happen to Firefox and Epiphany or all apps?

Firefox seems broken........

It's not just the firefox, it's also mozilla, seamonkey, and epiphany. It seems to do okay on some pages, but the websites with the new adobe flash with the new fixes are the sites that seems to cause the problem.

Linux is NOT broken. This is also happening to Fedora Core 6, and to Fedora Core 5, too.

So I'm just guessing, what causes this, but it only seems to be sites, (in my web checking) that have the NEW adobe flash player with the new fix. The mozilla based browsers also crash/close, on some sites, even when in windows XP.

And for gosh sakes, DO NOT use the flash 9 beta. That thing really crashes alot!

Firefox crashes........

galeon web browser seems to do a bit better.

other sites and this one too, people have also traced the problems to the css, and to complex java script, too.

FUN! Not.

Some have found that if the flash . so file is removed, that most of the problems stop. Just can't see any of the flash parts of the websites.
