firefox saving a link

When i click on a link to a file in firefox it pops up with an 'Opening' window thing. It say you have chosen to open the file... as opposed to opening a 'save as' dialog. its starting to get very annoying as not all things can be right clicked as save target as and i get sick of using wget. Is there a preference to change this? maybe something i am missing in about:config or even in the gui options. i want to be able to click a download link and has the save as dialog come up. Thanks

Hi!

Can you fix it with this?
Tools >> Options >> Downloads >> click on "Ask me where to save every file"
