Firefox problem with Java

hy,

I have installed Firefox PR1 on Fedora Core 2. The browser itself runs fine. However, if I link libjavaplugin_oji.so in the firefox/plugins directory, like its said on java.com, the browser fails to load with the message:

'
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not get the plugin manager
System error?:: Success
'

How can I get the plug-in working with Firefox? can you help me?

Solved.

Solution:
I was linking to the ns7-gcc29/libjavaplugin_oji.so in the firefox/plugins directory, i tried linking to the ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so instead. It's working for now... i tested it in http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.jsp.
