I use a Canon M610 printer with Suse Linux Desktop 10 SP2.
Originally had some issue with the correct printer driver for this combination, but got that sorted!
My printing on A4 works fine with a test page, evolution, Kate, Open Office documents etc., but not Firefox.
The version of Firefox I'm currently use is 2.0.0.18, which is about the updated to version 3.something.
The printer driver is MP610-Series-Ver.2.80en.
I have reconfigured Firefox to print via Kprinter as suggested by someone else.
So, the issue is, that I can print from Firefox, but it only prints the entire page on two/thirds of the actual paper A4. Specifically down the bottom left hand corner.
Surely, I not the only one that has run into this problem. Hence this post!
Certain settings in Firefox's about:config were ambiguous.
e.g. print.printer_CUPS/MP610-series-Ver.2.80en.print_paper_size was set to 666 which didn't map to the printer naming definition for the specific printer's paper size.
