firefox preferences window chopping off info

Installed (Suse 10.1 KDE) for first time, flawless, yippee ... but

if you re-size the firefox edit/preferences window by pulling up the bottom edge, then

*** there is no scroll-bar or any visual indication that the window has been shrunk and information is missing from the bottom of the window ***

Intuitively, this feels slightly outrageous - am I wrong to feel outraged?

(In Windows, that particular window cannot be re-sized)

I think the firefox options/preferences window is not supposed to be resized??

On Windows XP I cannot resize the window(firefox 2), so maybe the firefox developers haven't taken into account all the different window managers available in in Linux.

It could be a problem with KDE, but I doubt it as I have had the same problem in openbox.

still...I don't think is anything to be outraged by, just dont resize the window
