I removed and reinstalled the firefox
username@hostname % rpm -qf /usr/bin/firefox

i logged in as normal user and in my home directory i can see .mozilla

username@hostname % cd .mozilla/
username@hostname % ls -a
. .. extensions firefox

But their was no plugins directory, i created it manually and copied file.

restarted the firefox and checked with abooutlugins still the same screen. No plugins have been installed.

Please advise.

I had a similiar problem with this version of firefox. When I installed a plugin then rebooted I had to reinstall my plugins. I was very confused but installed flash and did a locate libflash to see where it was installing it to. After some debugging I had to manually copy libflash to /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9/plugins/

No idea why but it has worked since.

firefox, flash
