FireFox Plug-in
When I use Firefox, their are a series of plug-in required so the page can be displayed properly.
The problem is that download and installation, still the page has problems (rectangle that says "click here to download plug-in"). The same happened w/other software. For example, I downloaded Real Player .rpm file. Despite that appears available, it is not working. This was also the case for Panda for Linux freeware. Please help. Thanks. |
What Linux distro are you running? To get the RealPlayer plugin working, you can create a symlink as follows,
Code:
#ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/mozilla/* /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/. Code:
#ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/mozilla/* /usr/lib/firefox-{version}/plugins/. |
Opps!! Sorry ~that!.
Fedora Core 5 updated today. Thanks. |

Reddaz,
Despite that I have installed the software, the realtime folder do not appears in the usr root file. This is the same 4 the rest of the plugins installed as well as Panda. Hints? Thanks. |
If you're using a 64-bit OS, the plugins don't work ... If you're using a 32-bit, keep trying.
...and put your distro info in your profile. |
The distro is already in my profile. I updated yesterday. Fedora Core 5 updated.
I'm in 32-bits. When the DDR3 RAM Memory generation hits the market, I will put together a new PC, on Fedora hopefully. If I can run Quake 4 on it. Yes, I'll keep trying. Thanks., |
