Unhappy FireFox on RedHat 9


HELP!...With Installing FireFox 1.0 with RedHat 9?...do i have to shell script??....I'm slowly migrating from GatesVille....so I'm doing a dual boot with X/P and RedHat 9...I use FireFox on the X/P..no prob on installing er....but Please explain to me in detail on Opening er up in GNOME after I have already downloaded er!!...

With Mozilla I have manged to get Themes for er....But I do love the FireFox...however..I still can not go into GMAIL unless I'm using I.E!...sucks I know...but we can work er out!...thank you for you time

The easiest way to do this is to use Dag Wieers RPM for Firefox for Red Hat 9. To install this run the following commands,

su
rpm -ivh http://dag.wieers.com/packages/firef....test.i386.rpm
exit

Now you can run Firefox by pressing Alt-F2 in gnome and typing 'firefox' and pressing enter or you can look for it in the gnome menu.

activex on firefox/mozilla browsers?

Does firefox support ActiveX/Java?

Only thing I couldn't figure out!
