Firefox: Location of temp download directory?

Recently I was downloading a file from within Firefox when the Internet connection was lost. Where should I look to find the partial file? I want to delete it.

Thanks

It's usually the download directory that you've specified (Edit > Preferences > Main should tell you what that is). If you mean you were downloading something like a PDF, then I believe the directory is /tmp by default.

Thanks for the answer. I just wanted to be sure that in fact, the specified download location was also the location for a partial download. I ask because I could not find the partial. So, it must have been deleted.

I assume that's right. I think Firefox gives those partial files a .part extension by default.
