firefox links


when ever i try to open a link in firefox it fails or hangs forever.. I am running Fedora 18 how can i solve this?

The first thing I would recommend it to try another browser. This will help you determine whether it's a Firefox problem or something wider. You may have to install one; I think Firefox was the only one included by default.

You could also start Firefox from a terminal, click on a link, and look for error messages in the terminal, but I'm not optimistic about that.

There's really not enough to go on to hazard a guess as to why this is happening at this point.

You could get the Firebug add-on to Firefox. It's primarily for developers, but I do believe it has tools that will enable to you tell what may be causing the slow loading, or at least to identify some suspects, but I don't use Firefox all that much (Opera is my go-to browser and has been since before Firefox).
