Firefox link disappears from K-Menu

This is frustrating...

I've added Firefox to the K-Menu about 6 times now and *yes* I clicked the save button. After a reboot, it's just gone. It seems like, if I go back and put it on there again, then it sometimes screws up my KDE browser setup with Firefox as default browser.

Does anyone have any insight into this. I've not tried adding other programs...although it seems like I added Thunderbird once too and had that disappear on me.

Running KDE 3.3.1 on SimplyMepis 2004.04
