Firefox launch problem

I'm guessing firefox installs OK, since I don't receive any errors from the installer. Though when I try to run firefox...

Hello onthos
If I were you, I'd uninstall the Firefox you have on your machine,
and install instead the SuSE 9.1 rpm package with YaST
you can find one there MozillaFirefox 1.0.7-0.2 i586 package or MozillaFirefox 1.0.7-0.2 x86_64 package

After installing the rpm package, you must run firefox under root login, the first time, and only after that, under a user login.

I hope this will suit your need.

I'm getting quite frustrated with my release of SuSE. I probably won't have it for much longer, but thank you still.
