firefox has shrunk to a strip in xwindow - weird!

hi, its kinda hard to explain this, but i clicked or dragged or something accidently on firefox and it turned into a strip at the left hand side top of my xwindow and i cant drag the edge or maximise it again, all was fine until this happened.i tried to uninstall firefox with apt-get remove but i was still able to open it so it hadnt gone like i intended, so i ended up reinstalling again hoping this would erase any settings but its still the same.im using ubuntu server so apart from xorg i have no desktop,

any ideas? also how do i drag and move a window around inside an xwindow, i tried alt and drag but that never worked, also tried other random combinations,

thx,

Try right-clicking the bar and selecting shade. That should (if I am right) unshade/maximise it. Alternatively, if you go to the right hand bottom corner of the bar, do you get the icon change to expand it by clicking and dragging?

i resized firefox by dragging that corner, but i wish i knew how it shrank then grew that corner piece lol
