firefox hangs

I am using SuSE 10.0 on 2.8HT Asus MB, 256MB ram, 80GB Hard disk
ATI Radeon 9100 IGP.

Till yesterday Mozilla FireFox worked fine, but when I tried to open Firefox it never started, so I used command prompt and got this error ( even after reinstalling FireFox)

sasha@linux:~> firefox

(Gecko:7899): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
/usr/bin/firefox: line 251: 7899 Segmentation fault $MOZ_PROGRAM $MOZ_LANG

Please assist.

It could be the fault of a buggy firefox extension.
Do you have any extensions installed?

Note that extensions survive reinstalls because they are stored on a per user basis in their home directories.

Well The problem got solved when I entered in the command prompt

sasha@linux:~> firefox --UILocale
