i try to install extension FlashBlock..i guess it won't help...

so i think maybe becoz i haven't restart firefox..
then i'm thinking of remove flash plugin then reinstall...
so i have follow the instruction in macromedia website...to remove it manually..

http://www.noscript.net/whats

i use the noscript extention, it has the feature to block java, javascript and macromedia flash so i can enable flash when i run across an animation i wish to view and since most flash on most websites is just advertising i keep flash and javascript disabled until i see fit to authorize a particular website to run such things on my web browser...

it is all a matter of control, are you going to let websites have full control your browser? or are you going to be the one in control of what content you allow to be run on your computer? i choose the latter and you should too

hi,

I use the same browser and distro as you do...and flash works just fine
(have you install macromedia flash player?)

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz ]Macromedia flash player for Linux[/URL]

All instructions are in the Readme.txt file...

This has worked for me...

hi again..
As I remember i have also had some problems with flash player....
Just for fun try to disable SeLinux (in /etc/selinux/config -> SELINUX=disabled) to check if it is the selinux issue...

Assuming to your post you have installed from the firefox browser...I have also had problems with this...
Just try to delete all plugins and install player from URL from previous post of mine...

For me, firefox 1.0.4 works just fine, but you could try this one:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...1.fc4.i386.rpm
