Firefox downloading .pls streaming audio

Since uninstalling Totem, firefox tries to download .pls streaming audio files.

Using Konqueror I've ensured that Mandrake wants to open .pls files with Amarok, not try to download them, but Firefox doesn't want to join the party.

Anything I can do?

Thanks

(yes, this is probably a really dumb, easy question, and yes, I'm a noob)

Hi labworker!

I'm not in a good place to help you right now (firefox 0.9 in WinXP, gheh. I'm playing Battlefront here, in my "Wintendo"), but here you can associate applications to be opened with firefox in Tools >> Options >> Download >> File Type. Probably newer versions of Firefox and Linux have a different path, as Edit >> Preferences, downloads... etc. Thing is, it's possible .

Good luck mate!
