Firefox: cursor disappears from URL bar
 

I occasionally run into an annoying problem in Firefox: the cursor dissappears from the URL bar while I'm trying to enter a URL, requiring me to click back into the bar. It can happen repeatedly in a short time. Every time I've noticed this, I've been running antiX, but I've used several other distros recently, and it might have happened elsewhere--I don't remember. I'm using Firefox 9.0.1; I suppose I can upgrade in hopes that the problem goes away, but that it's a Firefox problem is only the most obvious assumption. I don't understand the guts of Linux well enough to be sure; that's often the case when I encounter unexpected problems. Has anyone else seen this?

I would say you probably should upgrade firefox if not reinstall it. I'm also experiencing problems in FF, there are times when the letter e doesn't show in some of my searches, can you imagine a whole page without the letter e? Also the content in tabs disappears until I mouseover them.
