firefox crashes in my linux ubuntu

anyone here can help me with my problem. my firefox keeps on crashing for about 10 to 15 minutes and i cant get things done.

please help

Which version of Firefox are you using?
You can simply delete the existing folder of firefox.

1. Try re-installing Firefox. Instead of using the current setup file, get a new one
from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

2. If it still does, check your startup options in your home directory.

3. Alternatively, try finding out something here

im using firefox 1.5.0.1 running on a linux ubuntu machine. im quite a newbie in this system. so if you can please tell me what to do.
