Whenever I try to get extensions it sends me to
http://www.mozilla.org/products/fire...3a3a9e97384%7d
It claims I have a modified version id, and exclaims the fix is this:
Code:
1. In your URL bar, enter about:config and press Enter.
2. In the filter bar, enter "useragent". The list should filter automatically.
3. Locate the entry named "general.useragent.vendorSub".
4. Right-click on it and choose "Reset" to allow Firefox to manage this value for you in the future (it will be automatically changed for you when you upgrade) -or-
5. Right-click on it and choose "Modify" and edit the version number to match your Firefox version if you wish to keep the extension's extra info (you will need to do this again any time you upgrade Firefox).
I did all that, and I did notice Debian had its name in there, as the firefox was installed by apt-get.
I tried to reset each string, yet the item was greyed out (meaning they're already default?)
Geez, why'd debian have to mess with the firefox anyways, now I can't get extensions. I installed the firefox from firefox's website too, and the strings are still messed up.
What should I do
