firefox annoyance


whenever i download something in firefox the download manager will pop up but it says nothing in it. No status, nothing it just blank.

How should i go about fixing this?

This is easy:
Edit -> Preferences -> Downloads

Then check the box marked "Ask me where to save every file" or chance where it will save every file without asking you, ex ~/downloads which will save it in the downloads directory in your home (assuming you make one, not sure if it will automatically make directories)
