Firefox 51.0.1 - broken password manager

I updated Firefox today, got 51.0.1 32-bit, running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and it broke the password manager. I use the Secure Login extension, which uses Firefox's password manager I believe. Now I cannot use any stored logins, none work. If the site has a one-page login, I can sometimes click in the username box and get a drop-down that will insert the info, and I can then log in. On any site with a two-step login (Yahoo, Gmail, etc), no joy. There have been no updates to any add-ons. The login button in the menu bar won't work at all.

Anyone else has a problem? Temporary glitch? Add-on issue, or Firefox issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Best place is always to check the extension's page.

In this case, you're not the only one who is experiencing problems.

You're probably going to have to wait for the extension's author to resolve the problem, or find another extension that has similar functionality.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll have to wait it out, mine is not the only password app affected.
