Firefox

A strange thing: Installed Suse 10.0 everything worked fine. Then using YOU I updated all installed software and that was ok. Firefox worked ok before update, but after update when I open Firefox it display the browser but immediately closes it.

How do I correct/update/or install new(er) version?

Never Mind! For some reason Firefox became operational once more after a few hours. Being a WinXP user this was strange behaviour but he what can I say! Managed after some trial and error to install latest Firefox version, phewwww!

try to get an error message

open a terminal and type 'firefox'

then you should get error messages in the terminal. without them it's hard to say what the problem is.

if that doesnt fix it, it may be a bad theme and/or extension, go with firefox -safemode.
