Firefox 3 missing plugins

I tried to upgrade to Firefox 3 which works however my plugins are missing. I'm sure they are still there just don't know what is wrong to fix it. I read on the Molliza page to delete pluginreg.dat and it will work, but it doesn't. I'm using Mandriva 2008. Thanks Dudes.

I didn't want to try to install all of the missing plugins, I have no idea what is missing now. There was a huge amount before. If I did aboutlugins it showed a couple pages of stuff.
There should be some way to link the old ones to the new install. Unless the install removed them?

OK, I fixed it.
I found my old plugins under usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, I copied them to the new install
plugin folder /home/dad/install/firefox/plugins and I think they are all there.
I was able to watch "big bill hells" clip on youtube just fine, thats my test!
aboutlugins shows them now.
