Firebird window tabs?

In the Mozilla-Firebird browser, how do you train it to open links in tabbed windows? Mine just opens in full windows which cover everything.

the tab opens with crtl+left click rigth click->openm link in new tab. whit crtl+t you open a blank tab

I just right click on the link and choose "Open Link in New Tab" - I can't find another way.
Yet.

middle mouse button opens new tabs for me.

Thanks. The middle and right clicks do as you say. But I thought that I could set something in the options.
