final cut pro equivalent

Hi, I have often wondered if there is a video editing program that is up to the standard of final cut pro. I have looked around a bit and haven't found anything- but then again, someone might know. Has anyone run final cut pro on linux?

I've not used Final Cut, but take a look at Main Actor. Its as good as Adobe Premiere, in my opinion.
