Filesystem problem
Heya all
Quite some time since I last was here, but when a question pops up, I sure know where to go ;) Anyway I'm having a bit of a problem here - Can anybody give me a way, most prefered a boot-floppy, which is able to bootup my computer and access it's UFS filesystem ? The major prob. is that it's the Apple UFS filesystem - ya know.. the one from Mac OS X Server and Rhapsody - not sure but NeXTSTEP too, I think. Anyway, I was just looking for a simply bootfloppy with support for this filesystem, and which would allow me to be in a terminal / shell with R/W access. If there's a CD distro out, I'm also in for that :) Sincerly -Daxziz |
Have you looked at knoppix yet?

As system - yes. But I didn't knew that it has support for Apple UFS - hmm I might be a bit outdated here at info, is the Linux Kernel updated with Apple UFS support now ? Last time I heard something about it was that a few had some about it, but it was very experimental. Anyway I'll look at Knoppix - thx for the reply :)
