FileMgmt alternative to Konqueror (SuSE 10.0)

Not sure I like Konqueror as a file management utility (don't use it as a browser).

I'm looking for alternatives to it and am asking for your recommendations. I'm learning to use the Konsole more and more and am growing comfortable with it. However, I still feel the need for a reliable file management application.
