file transfer over ssh?

What is the best way to transfer files from one linux box to another over ssh? Under windows there is an ssh client (www.ssh.com) which has an inbuilt gui (similar to an ftp gui) which allows the drag-and-drop of files from one computer to another.

Are there any similar apps for linux and/or are there any simple ways to do this from the command line??

Cheers.

I use both scp and sftp for secure file transfers......works great!! I would do a man on both to get the correct syntax and usage.
