i just got gnome 2.6 goin and im trying to extract some archives but when i open it to extract in file-roller i dont see where i am able to type in the destination directory, it says you can do this in the manual btu i dont see it in mine. i need this because i would like to extract it to a hidden folder

Hit control-L in the extract dialog. It will even autocomplete for you.

ok now when i do that it doesnt extract the folders that are in it just the files and i get this error:

ok nevermind i just had to check overwrite files and recreate folders thanks again!
