file rescue


Hi

i need a filerescue program to restore deleted files
and able to acces read/write vfat and ext2/ext3
this filerescue program have to be installed in a live cd .
Why?
because in this why i can rescue also deleted file that prevent operating system to come up
actually i tried photorec installed with "recovery is possible"
but it seems to rescue only image files.
so sumarizing i need to know live cd with filerescue program
any help ,opinion experiences will be appreciated
thanks in advance

Try and use TestDisk. Present on SystemRescueCD if I remember correctly.
