File / picture viewing order !!! doesn't work!

when viewing pictures in gpicview it is doing the order wrong..

ie. it goes filename001, filename010 ... thru filename019, then filename002

AGGGH!!

is there any way to correct this ??
I am assuming it is doing Lexicographic vs. Alphanumeric sorting?

Lexicographical order is :

file1
file10
file11
file12
...
file19
file2
file20
file21
...

to prevent this, one way is to pad the numbers with zeros to get a fixed size :

file001
file002
...
file009
file010
file011
...
file019
file020
file021
...

I don't know if that is what you ask for though.
