file permissions


hai to all,

this is Sri

i am using fedora linux

i downloaded drupal-6.0
and unzipped that and putted that folder in my root (i.e var/www/html/)

now when i run index.php file like http://localhost/drupal/index.php then i am getting

give permitions to sites/default/settings.php file and also to files folder

but i dont know how to give permitions to that file

from terminal how to navigate var/www/html/dupal folder to run chmod command on settings.php file?

please tell me

hi,

can you paste the exect error from your apache log files, then it would be easy to resolve.
