File '/repodata/repomd.xml' not found on medium 'http://www2.ati.com/suse/11.4'


Hi

Whenever i try to install something on open suse 11.4 i am getting the following error

File '/repodata/repomd.xml' not found on medium 'http://www2.ati.com/suse/11.4'[/B]

This started only from yesterday...Any ideas of what i should do

repodata URL is bad

Apparently, if the URL worked before it, doesn't now. What you probably need to do is add the Packman Repositories for your SuSE 11.4 - review the following page and make sure your repository list includes Packman. Then us "zypper" to install the proper drivers.

opensuse 11.4 hit it's end of life back in November 2012
It is dead ( R.I.P.)
There has been and never will be any new software for it , no security fixes, no new programs no nothing .
The old software repos are being deleted from the web .

Please stay current and install the current OpenSUSE 12.2 ,you will need to do a new clean fresh install .

back up data
reformat the drive
install 12.2 from the dvd
