configure: error: Package requirements (ogg >= 1.1 vorbis vorbisenc theora ) were not met:

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XIPH_CFLAGS
and XIPH_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
I already installed ffmpeg and libtheora.
I'm installing on Fedora Core 6.
I've tried on FC5 with the same result.

TIA.

This error seems to be with ./configure not finding the location of ffmpeg.

By trial and error, I did
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig:$PKG_CONFIG_PATH

./onfigure ran after that.
