ffmpeg/avconv failing to record at 1920x1080

avconv -video_size 1900x1080 -framerate 25 -f x11grab -i :0.0+100,200 output.avi

avconv version 0.8.12-6:0.8.12-1, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the Libav developers
  built on Jun  1 2014 17:03:01 with gcc 4.7.2
[x11grab @ 0x18cadc0] device: :0.0+100,200 -> display: :0.0 x: 100 y: 200 width: 1900 height: 1080
[x11grab @ 0x18cadc0] shared memory extension  found

  Minor opcode of failed request: 4 (X_ShmGetImage)
  Serial number of failed request: 11
  Current serial number in output stream: 11

I can successfully record at 1024x768 but whenever I try to record at 1920x1080 I got the above error.

Any idea?

edit: nevermind, I'm using recordmydesktop now.
