All Google'd solutions result in nothing being changed! I have tried editing and changing init.scm and creating a siteinit.scm, but nothing seems to work -- I still get the damned robot voice (Hawking anyone?). I am using Ubuntu Hoary with festival 1.4.3. I want to create some MP3 audiobooks from text files, and found some references to do it, but I don't want a robot voice - I want a pseudo-human voice... Kristian Hermansen
