I have downloaded kdemultimedia-3.2.2.tar.bz2 and i want to compile it so i wiil have mp3 support under kde...

I have following problem when i launch the configure scrip:

you are missing the flac++ headers and libraries..... flac support will not be compiled

I have downloaded and installed:

flac-devel-1.1.0-0.fdr.12.rh90.i386.rpm
flac-libs-1.1.0-0.fdr.12.rh90.i386.rpm
also tried:
libflac++-1.1.0-alt7.i586.rpm
libflac++-devel-1.1.0-alt7.i586.rpm..

Don't work!!!!!!!
What can i DO????

Have you tried to get kdemultimedia from apt or yom? I guess would be better, as it will tell you all dependencies you need and download them for you.
If you wanna get mp3 support, get lame or mpg321.

Thank you Hammett..
my problem is that i can't use my modem under linux so i can't download via YUM or APT.....
However.. I don't think that your reply could help me (I don't want to be hughty ) Yum and Apt resolve dependency of rpm package and not tar.bz2 or tar.gz package...

Thank you again and goodbye!!!!!
