Fedora Winex, and steam
 
whenever i try to run a .exe file i get this error or similar

[jdlinux@jdlinux jdlinux]$ cd c
[jdlinux@jdlinux c]$ cvswinex steaminstall.exe

would appreciate it if somone could help me at all.

How about using the search feature. Locating one of the 20-30 other people who have asked the same question, as if one of them has it working or has a different problem than you, the only way its gonna work is with their help, as a lot of us don't run steam... and winex problems, are winex problems...

fair enough its not really a steam problem , happens with any exe, so yeah its a winex problem. sorry

What the heck? I've used cvs winex and always typed wine app.exe, maybe that's part of it

firstly are you sure your in the same directory that the .exe file is in? and the 'cvswinex' command is right.
