I am curently running a FEDORA server and I believe that it is setup properly:
- I am able to VNC in and remotly control
- I do not appear to have any errors
- I am running a GUI interface

My goal is to run the APACHE web server with one IP and several NAMES

- I have downloaded the latest release of APACHE and expanded the compressed file into a directory.

This is where I am lost:

- I do not know how to RUN THE INSTALL (or even if there is one)
- I do not know how to RUN THE CONFIGURATION (trouble 1 may help with trouble two)

Lets see if this will help for now..

Then we will work on the world press


I am willing to allow access via VNC if someone can help..

Hi Kevin, welcome to LQ!

Since this is a public forum and takes a value in keeping the actions taken to resolve something public, I think it would be much better to post the issues you are facing and ask for support. That way you'll get to know learn it and help someone else in future. Just my 2 cents. I'm pretty sure it's something LQ members can help with, like they've been doing for years.

And btw, your choice for a blog system is fine, IMHO
