Fedora, Sendmail, and Firewalls
 

Hi, I've just upgraded from rh 7.3 to fedora core 1. In the process, iptables got activated (i had been using ipchains), and ports 25 and 80 (though not 22) are blocked inbound. I've turned off iptables and ipchains entirely, but still haven't been able to get through from other machines. Accessing these from the machine works using localhost, but not using the hostname or ip address.

What am I doing wrong?

Is the network interface up and assigned an ip.

whoops, its just the stupid redhat sendmail.cf issue. never mind....
