Fedora permissions not taking.

I am having issues with Fedora Core 4 not updating my permissions on files. I have a file that will not show up when I FTP.

I Ftp into the directory /home/dan. I can see every file in there fine.

I then moved the folder /Music to /home/dan and updated the owner with the following:

chown -R dan:dan /home/dan/Music
chmod -R ugo+rwx /home/dan/Music

I then checked the file against the others in the directory and they look exactly the same:

drwxrwxrwx 109 dan dan 16384 Jan 1 1970 Music

But when I ftp to the machine the Music file does not appear. I can create other files as dan and they show up but for some reason this one never shows.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You've probably run into one of the annoying selinux problems. Try to do an "ls -Z" in one of the folders.
