When i m installing Red Hat Linux the installation is ok and disk partioning is done by Linux installer itself but when i m trying to install Fedora then the
installation process hang to the following message window

Could not allocate requested partitions:
Partitioning Failed:Could not allocate partions as primary partitions.

Press 'OK' to Reboot your system.

I have never allowed Installer to automatically edit my partition.
It is easy, you don't need automatic here.
You just need 2 partition.
One is small (1.5 or 2 times of your RAM size). This will be used as swap partition, you format it as swap using the disk partitioning tool provide by FC installer
One is large so it can contain all linux file (8GB or larger is a good idea). It should be format as ext2 or ext3 and specify as the / mount point. That's all.
