Fedora Core 5 on a Mac Mini Intel

Hello all,

I'm currently trying to install FC5 on a Mac Mini with an intel processor. The install process completes fine but upon reboot I see a folder with a question mark on it, after that then grub spits a message to the screen that says grub loading stage 2. I followed a few directions I found on this forum but now grub says loading stage 1.5. The system hangs and will not do anything. If anyone has any info on getting past this problem I would appreciate it.

Can you post a copy of your grub's menu.lst or grub.conf file?

Actually I don't think I can. I don't have an internet connection on that machine. Anything I should look for in those files.

Ok I reinstalled OSX and reinstalled Fedora, I installed grub on sda1.

Here is my menu.lst

On my first installation I kept getting a folder with a question mark on it were the grey apple would be then it would go to a screen that said grub loading stage 2.... then it would hang.

Now after the install and placing the boot loader on sda1 and not the mbr I don't get the folder with the question mark on it but grub still hangs in the same place. So Thanks for any help on this.
