Fedora Core 3 And Scsi Troubles
Hi all,
i want to install a fedora core release on a brand new machine.
In one scsi disc (the first in the list) there is already a winxp
installed and since there are 2 disks available, i am willing to install
fedora on the second.
I boot from the fedora CD and start normally the installation.
the sw probes the various drivers and along with them the infamous
AIC79XX. Altrough i know that some distributions hang at the probing,
i manage to get past to it, arriving at the disk device mounting.
Regardless that i choose manual or automatic partitioning,
i can see just one of the two disks (the one with windows on board).
How can i manage to get past this driver-trouble?
pls... in the answer consider that i am little more than a newbie,
so... try to keep it simple!!
thank you
the G.
