fedora core 2 can't open any web pages in http


hi there I have just installed fedora core 2 along with XP

it has found my serial modem and I have set up ISP

my modem dials up fine, and connects I like it did with Suse
and windows XP (using now)

when I open up mozziler and type in a http address like,
www.ask.co.uk, www.yahoo.co.uk and many more, fedora
just says can not open page?

I have tried 2 web browsers in fedora still no luck

any help guys

It's not the browser,you are not connected to the net for some reason,check it with;
